I was born in Colorado and, at 17, enlisted in the United States Army because I believe service is a duty. That belief has guided every chapter of my life since. My discipline and work ethic earned me an assignment to the United States Army Old Guard, where I conducted full honors funerals for fallen service members as a casket bearer. Standing with grieving families in their hardest moments cemented in me a lasting respect for sacrifice, responsibility, and country. I later returned home to serve with the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson. I deployed to Afghanistan with the 2nd Brigade, 2-12 Infantry Battalion, an experience that strengthened my resolve to defend the freedom, security, and opportunity we share as Americans.

After an honorable discharge, I continued serving Colorado in a new way. I enrolled at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, studying Political Science and History, where my focus on the U.S. and Colorado Constitutions deepened my commitment to protecting our liberties. While attending school full-time, I worked in the Colorado State Legislature as a Legislative Aide, gaining firsthand insight into what’s working and what needs to change. Colorado deserves leaders whose top priority is the people they represent.
